Verifying ID during sign up

To verify your Stake account, you’ll need to upload one of the following valid, government-issued photo IDs:

• Australian driver’s licence (front and back)

• Passport (Australian or international).

In some cases, we may ask for a second document, like a utility bill or bank statement, showing your full name and residential address. Make sure:

• All four corners of the document are visible

• The text is clear and not cropped

• It’s dated within the last 3 months.

Verification usually takes a few minutes. If we need more info, we’ll let you know.

Didn’t get verified right away? You might want to check if your ID is expired or missing key info. Check your emails or on App messages, we’ll provide an update on what you’ll need to do next.
